During the academic year 2024–2025, Government Graduate College for Women, Gulberg, Lahore placed significant emphasis on the promotion of skill-based education at the intermediate level. Under the auspices of the Department of Medical and Health Sciences, the College introduced specialized programmes in physical and allied health disciplines to provide structured theoretical knowledge alongside practical training.

The programs offered include:

  • Medical Laboratory Technology– Equipping students with diagnostic and laboratory skills in microbiology, hematology, pathology, and chemistry to support hospitals and diagnostic centers.
  • Physiotherapy Technology– Preparing students for rehabilitation, pain management, and physical recovery services.
  • Dental Hygiene– Promoting preventive oral healthcare and community awareness.
  • Nursing– Developing skilled and compassionate caregivers who provide patient care, health education, and emergency support.

 

Through these programs, GGCW Gulberg is contributing to professional healthcare development while empowering women through quality, skill-oriented education.
