Summer Internship Program 2025
15-Day Internship
The 15-day Summer Internship Program at Government Graduate College for Women, Gulberg, held from 15th June to 30th June 2025, was designed to offer students meaningful, practical experience in key institutional departments.
A total of 460 students enrolled in the program, and 60 students were selected for the first batch. The internship aimed to develop students’ skills, boost their confidence, and deepen their understanding of college functions on both administrative and academic levels.
Interns selected one of the following areas based on their interest: Administration, IT, Library, or Class Presentations. Each department provided a unique learning opportunity under the supervision of experienced faculty and staff.
• Administration: Interns handled official tasks such as preparing certificates, making and laminating college ID cards, assisting the admission committee by guiding new students, verifying documents, and managing admission files.
• Library: Interns organized books, updated cataloguing systems, managed book issuance/returns, and supported students in using library resources, gaining insights into library operations.
• IT Section: Interns worked with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, performed data entry, and assisted in digital design work, enhancing their computer literacy and technical proficiency.
• Class Presentation: Interns prepared and delivered subject-based presentations using visual aids. This helped improve public speaking, research, and presentation skills, while receiving constructive feedback from mentors.
This internship was a highly enriching and transformative experience. It allowed students to go beyond textbook knowledge, explore real-world applications, and contribute meaningfully to the functioning of the college. The experience has laid a solid foundation for future academic pursuits and professional responsibilities.
