Department of Applied Psychology
A degree in Applied Psychology focuses on skill-based learning that complements a wide range of other fields. It promotes well-being and mental health by fostering a deeper understanding of mental processes. This degree enhances self-awareness, improves intra- and interpersonal relationships, develops critical thinking, and strengthens leadership skills.
Additionally, it provides insights into health psychology strategies, enhances decision-making by exploring emotional intelligence, and teaches methods to improve memory. Students gain hands-on experience in counseling and clinical skills, as well as cognitive and emotional development, through experimentation, research projects, SPSS training, and internship programs.
The Department of Applied Psychology also offers individual and group counseling services to further support student growth and development.
