Introduction

In the present age, when global economies, digital devices, technology and communication skills dominate, it is  necessary to clearly ascertain the changing realities of the world. Political Science is an excellent humanities subject that is best suited for students’ interests in learning how groups of people govern themselves, how polities are made and how we can improve our government policies at all levels. The FYDP in Political Science seeks to develop consciousness among individuals, regarding their rights and duties towards the polity. They will be equipped with the potential to cope with the challenges of modern world effectively.

Learning Objectives

  • The program aims to provide students the insight and the confidence to view the world and its political development from a fresh perspective.
  • It will provide a broader viewpoint and theoretical foundations to its students so that they can analyze contemporary and future domestic and global political issues, and be able to offer innovative solutions for enduring peace and harmony.
  • For the above purpose, different streams of specialization have been provided to be opted by the students in the last two smesters.

Learning Outcomes

Learning outcomes with the degree in Political Science are extremely varied. It is this flexibility that makes the degree so practical and significant. It qualifies an individual for many different careers in the field of Law, Local and Federal Government, Community National and International Organizations, Central and Provisional Services and Research Expertise.
